During a stretch of summer heat that’s had people sweating, cranking up the air conditioning and reaching for some water, many folks are looking for ways to stay hydrated—and a new local business is here to provide.
Hopkinsville residents Luci Keller and Wyatt Wells are the power couple behind Weller Natural Hydration, which started in their kitchen, where Keller was coming up with ways to manage her own health by adding supplements, salt and other beneficial minerals to her drinking water.
Speaking with WHOP, Keller says she was spending so much time trying get the supplements she needed, but it wasn’t exactly a fun process. Wells says after watching her having to drink gross concoctions, he recommended coming up with their own mix that would actually taste good—and they did just that.

From Kitchen Sink to Wellness Movement
Weller Co. didn’t start in a boardroom; it started in a real-life kitchen.
The founders weren’t looking to launch the next big health trend. They were trying to survive the daily chaos of raising kids, managing stress, and supporting their health in an increasingly overwhelming world. Sound familiar?
They tried the usual suspects, those brightly colored electrolyte drinks you find in gas stations or the trendy wellness aisles. But it didn’t take long to realize that most were packed with sugar, artificial flavors, and a questionable ingredient list that didn’t seem to do anything, especially not for hormone balance, mental clarity, or the emotional rollercoaster of modern life.
They did what any wellness warrior would do when faced with a gap in the market: they made their own.
