What is an HSA?

A Health Savings Account lets you set aside pre-tax money for qualified health expenses. It’s paired with a high-deductible health plan, and the money rolls over year after year, so it’s yours to keep.

What is an FSA?

A Flexible Spending Account is usually set up through your employer. You choose an amount to set aside from each paycheck before taxes. Most FSAs need to be used within the plan year, so leftover funds can expire.

Why isn’t the money taxed?

Money goes into an HSA or FSA before income and payroll taxes are taken out, and it comes out tax-free when you spend it on eligible health purchases. You skip the taxes you’d normally pay on that part of your paycheck.

How much will I save, on average?

Most people save around 30% on purchases made with HSA or FSA dollars. On a $49 subscription order, that’s about $14 back in your pocket. Your exact savings depend on your tax bracket.

Do I need a Letter of Medical Necessity?

Supplements usually need one to qualify. Flex handles it right at checkout with a short chat-based consultation reviewed by a licensed provider. If you qualify, the letter is valid for 12 months of eligible purchases.

What if I don’t have my HSA/FSA card?

Still choose “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” and pay with a regular credit or debit card. Flex will send you an itemized receipt to submit to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement. You can also find it at withflex.com/portal.

Can I use my HSA/FSA on a subscription?

Yes. Subscribe with a regular credit or debit card, then tap “Get reimbursed” on your order confirmation page. Complete the quick eligibility chat and submit your letter and receipt through the Flex Portal. Your letter covers 12 months of deliveries.

I don’t see Flex at checkout.
